At Sprout, we work hard to bring you what you can't often find in a conventional grocery store.

Organic & local produce, bread, and dairy. An array of organic groceries. Environmentally friendly cleaners and baby supplies. Local, natural, and organic personal care products. Delicious healthy snacks for organic lovers and specialty diets; including a large line of gluten free products.

And with you, our valued customer and friend, we share our beliefs...

Firstly; we believe in health & wellness. The foods and ingredients we choose to fill our shelves will be the best of what's available; not necessarily in the world, but as close to home as we can find it. We will look to bring in a variety of foods that are a combination of organic, local, natural, and specialty diet. Vegetarians, celiac sufferers, and health nuts alike will have a place that addresses their needs, preferences, and quality of life.

Secondly; we believe in the environment We believe that the earth has provided us with everything we need to live and be healthy. Too many foods are low quality based on shortcuts in farming practices. GMO, filled with pesticides, laced with herbicides, and mass produced. This not only taints the food, but depletes the land of its invaluable ability to be cyclical as it is meant. In addition, foods that travel extremely far create multiple problems environmentally and socially. It is for this reason that we want to make the lightest footprint that we can on the earth by choosing foods that come from the friendliest farming practices and from as nearby as is available. We look forward to working towards this, and will embrace any opportunity to make quality products of this nature available at Sprout.

Finally; we believe in our community & the strength of a local economy. We work closely with local and natural organic farmers, bakers, food processors, and artisans and are always looking for more local people to engage in our store. Each time money is spent at a large mass market store, that money leaves the community and goes to urban centers very far from here. This money rarely comes back to the community and then it is us, who live here, that are left with little choice and variety when it comes to our needs. We begin to rely on outsider spending. With sprout grocery, the cycle of our local economies money will be smaller; this in turn will create a more sustainable community where individuals can work and play and enjoy the abundance that this beautiful area of the world has to offer.

We are here because we believe in this and we know that there are others here that feel the same way. Sprout... the start of something new.
